This path will be used for the transport of bulk materials, including fuel and heavy equipment, used to work on existing runways, helping to ensure the Noront is position, once the necessary approvals are in place to carry out mining activities.
Fall/winter runway work plan in 2014 and session development partners with Noront Marten falls under Logistics (100% Marten falls first nation-owned entity) approved land use plans have been completed. As part of this project, and landing areas will be cleared in the winter air strip as its final size by 2014/15, instead of the previously used ice air belt Koppel on the Lake. Rock aggregate building out of the ground is not available, upgrade for all season use runways at the Eagle's nest of mine.
